I made this record when my country was plunged into the perfect form of postmodernism - fascism. Having no blueprint for the future, Russia turned to the most hopeless way to transform the world. To war.

The moral, cultural triumph of Ukraine is obvious. How obvious is the fall of my Motherland. Using an archaic manner and technology, I reflected it by recording a mournful spiritual verse (a type of Russian medieval poetry) and a Ukrainian folk song. It seems that their combination turned out to be eloquent.
